Hi, I’m Tammy

Founder of Kenning Law, I am a family solicitor specialising in Family Law and Litigation. My approach is calm, clear, and practical. I’m here to guide you through difficult times with straightforward advice and support you can trust.

Supporting clients since 2003

My approach is grounded in practicality.

I focus on resolving disputes efficiently, cost-effectively, and with as little stress as possible. Wherever appropriate, I encourage mediation and aim to avoid court proceedings unless absolutely necessary. I have particular experience supporting individuals who’ve come out of difficult, controlling, or emotionally abusive relationships, and I understand the unique sensitivities involved.

I also work with clients who want to maintain a cooperative relationship with their ex-partner, especially when it comes to co-parenting and seeking a respectful, amicable divorce.

Qualifications and History

Over my career I’ve worked as Head of Department, Partner and Managing Partner of a regional Legal 500 firm and more recently Head of Family Law in a regional firm in Norwich.

I’m a member of Resolution, and trained as a Collaborative Lawyer, and also ACTAPS trained. Being based in Norwich, I really enjoy being an an active member of the business community in Norfolk.
