Clear, Transparent Legal Fees at Kenning Law
We believe in being transparent about our legal fees so you can make informed decisions from the outset.
The work we carry out is usually charged on a time basis. Our current hourly rate is £320 plus VAT.
We provide bespoke estimates of fees based on the circumstances of your case and the amount of work involved. After an initial discussion, we will outline the likely scope of work and provide an indication of the expected fees where possible.
As Family Solicitors, our focus is always on helping clients reach practical and amicable resolutions, which can often reduce both the time involved and the overall cost.
VAT
All fees are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%).
Disbursements
Some matters may involve additional third-party costs, known as disbursements, such as court fees or expert reports. Where these apply, we will explain them clearly in advance.
